Newborn Photography

We’ve just introduced some great Newborn Photography Packages - ideal for new parents wishing to capture baby in it’s first few weeks in the big wide world, tiny fingers and toes, curled up in sweet slumber, it’s tiny size in Daddy’s arms . Ideally the newborn should be photographed within the first four weeks if you want to capture those lovely sleepy poses- but don’t worry if time runs away from you in those first few weeks, as it tends to do in a flurry of nappy changing and feeding – our Newborn Packages are valid for babies up to 12 weeks.

The Newborn package includes a sitting of up to an hour, during which an unlimited number of shots will be taken. You will then get an opportunity to view your photos from your session and choose your favourites for printing. We can print and frame black and white, colour and sepia enlargments, make a canvas wall hanging, we can make a collage of the best images from your session so you can see them all in one frame, we can make a beautiful Photobook from your images - add captions, baby’s name, date of birth, weight, add some lines from a favourite poem or saying, you are only limited by your imagination.

We’ve also introduced a beautiful collection of Thank You Cards – you can personalise these with a photo of baby, and your own message. You don’t even have to have your photos taken with us – we will use one of your own photos if you’d prefer. Cards come as either a traditional fold-over card with envelopes or as a photographic print – perfect for framing. There are six great designs to choose from. Prices start from just €1.

Our New 2000 sq ft Studio, pictured above, is custom built to offer you space, comfort and privacy.
We use the most up-to-date digital technology for excellent results.
We’ve got a private changing room for your convenience.
Bring a change of outfit for a different look.
Dress up for a formal family portrait, then change into jeans and t-shirt for a more fun,
relaxed look.
A studio session takes up to an hour, during which we’ll take an unlimited selection of shots.
Once your portraits have been taken, we’ll give you an appointment for a viewing. Relax on the couch and see your beautiful photographs on the big screen in our viewing area. We’ll prepare sample collages for you to see and we’ll go through all the options with you. Whether it’s a canvas for your wall, a beautiful storybook or some simple framed prints for grandparents you need, we’ve got options to suit you and your budget.

Bring a change of outfit for a different look!

Dress in what makes you feel comfortable and shows your personal style. Whether it’s a tutu, a suit or a pair of jeans, if it makes you feel happy and relaxed, then it’s ok. Simplicity is best. Remember we want to see the person, not the clothes!
If you’re unsure, bring a few outfits. We’ve got a private changing room for your convenience. If your child has a favourite toy or blankie, bring that in. If they love playing guitar, skateboarding or are football mad bring in the instrument, ball or jersey, whatever says something about them.
Babies should arrive well rested. Allow us to direct them and don’t worry if it takes a while for them to settle and relax. With time and patience we’ll get the shots. A family portrait makes a lovely and unique gift for your husband, wife or for grandparents and other family members. If you’ve moved away from home for college or work, surprise your parents with a portrait of you and your siblings – they’ll love it, especially if the last time you had your picture taken together was for your confirmation! From the formal family portrait to the casual fun informal shots, we’ll spend lots of time with you to get as many shots as possible. If you’ve got your own ideas, don’t be shy, tell us and we’ll do our best to capture them.

We’ll take an unlimited number of shots for you to choose from. Bring in different outfits, the kids’ favourite toys, even the family pet if you’re brave enough! Then come back to us at your leisure and choose what you want. We’ll do some sample collages for you, show you your photos in black and white and come up with some cool presentation ideas. You can relax on the couch in our viewing area and see all your shots on the big screen to help you decide.

Choosing Your Wedding Stationery – FAQs

1. Q: When should I order my wedding stationery?

A: Not less than three months before the wedding date.

2. Q: When should I send out the day invitations?

A: Usually six weeks before the wedding date (possibly earlier for overseas invitations).

3. Q: Should the Guest List be finalised before I order my wedding stationery?

A: Before ordering, you should always finalise the guest list to ensure that all guests are included.

4. Q: How do I calculate the number of day invitations required?

A: Allow one card per couple or individual invited and order an extra ten cards to allow for errors or additional guests. A useful guideline is half your meal quantity and add 10. So if you have 200 guests you will need 110 day invitations.

5. Q: What wording should be printed on my wedding stationery?

A: It depends on a number of factors e.g. whether the wedding is formal or informal, traditional or non-traditional, whether you or your parents are inviting your guests etc. It is best to verify the wording with all parties concerned e.g. Parents, Clergyman etc.

6. Q: Is it my responsibility to ensure that all details are spelt correctly on the invitations?

A: It is your responsibility to ensure that all details are spelt correctly. A proofing service is available if required

7. Q: What times should be printed on my wedding stationery?

A: Verify the time for the ceremony with the clergyman. Discuss the time required for a personalised evening invitation (approximately six hours after ceremony time)

8. Q: What Dress Code should I put on my invitations?

A: Discuss whether a dress code should be printed on the stationery e.g. Black Tie, Dress Formal etc.

9. Q: What R.S.V.P. Date should I put on my invitations?

A: If a reply date is required, we suggest that it be as least two weeks before the wedding date.

10. Q: What details of the Marriage Service should be placed on my wedding stationery?

A: Check all details with the clergyman before placing the order.

How to set-up your home computer to print inserts for Marriage Ceremony or Order of Service Books.

For Microsoft Word Users

Step 1: Open a new document and you will now prepare the page to begin typing.

Click ‘File’ then ‘Page Set-up’ and select the ‘Paper Size’ tab.
Select the ‘Orientation’ of the sheet as ‘Landscape’
Now enter a width of 244mm (or equivalent of 24.4cm or 9.60 inches)
Then enter a height of 172mm (or equivalent of 17.2cm or 6.77 inches)

Now select the ‘Margins’ tab and change the sizes of each of these margins as follows:

Set the Top Margin to 15mm (or equivalent of 1.5cm or 0.59 inches)
Set the Bottom Margin to 15mm (or equivalent of 1.5cm or 0.59 inches)
Set the Left Margin to 15mm (or equivalent of 1.5cm or 0.59 inches)
Set the Right Margin to 15mm (or equivalent of 1.5cm or 0.59 inches)
Set the Gutter to 0mm
Set the Header to 0mm
Set the Footer to 0mm
Now click ‘OK’.

This has now changed that page size and orientation of your inserts.

Step 2: Now click ‘FORMAT’ and then ‘COLUMNS’

Set the ‘Presets’ to ‘Two’ and the spacing to 30mm, (or equivalent of 3cm or 1.18 inches)
Click ‘OK’.
This has now created a left and right column on your insert page.
Now save your temple:
Click ‘FILE’, ‘SAVE AS’, change ‘Save type as’ to ‘Document Template’ and save your template with your selected file name.

Step 3: Now begin to white your wording.

We suggest that you select a ‘book’ style font for your writing at a point size of ‘10’. As you write you will notice that the columns will gradually fill up. We also suggest the following format selections for your book.

Any text being said by the Priest should be in the normal font selection with the initial “P” on the left-hand side.

Example: “P The Lord be with you”

Any text being said by the Congregation should be in a bold font selection with the initial “C” on the left-hand side.

Example: “C And also with you“

Any text being said by the Bride or Groom should be in an italic font selection with the initial of either person speaking on the left-hand side.

Example: “L I Lidia, take you Keith…” then

“K I Keith, take you Lidia…“

Step 4: When you have finished writing, now see how many pages are in your book.

The pages now have to be placed in the correct order for printing. For books that contain more than one sheet of paper, you will have to recreate a new file as per the previous instructions. Please follow the diagrams below to have your book printed in the correct order.
